Am not able to visit the park often, but love keeping up to date via the park blog. However at my last visit i was disappointed with the state of the grass as it looked poorly kept, hopefully this will have changed before my next visit whenever that may be. Cant wait for the next blog entry to see whats happening, and park keeper please can we have blog updates on a weekly basis? Thank you.

Well done on the play area. Best in the area and even better than our previous favourite in Edinburgh. Our nearly 5 year-old loves it!

Congratulations to the Parks Dept. team and the Friends of Pannett park for their splendid Silver Gilt Award in Yorkshire in Bloom, all the better for being a first time entry. Well done everyone, a perfect park.

We visited Whitby in september. The park is a delight and we would like to congratulate all concerned for their care, and their hard work. Gill and Michael.

Congratulations on the 'Best Visitor Attraction' tourism award & this year's In Bloom results. They are recognition of all the hard work put in by the Friends, SBC parks staff & the In Bloom group. Enjoyed vid. of halloween event.

My first overnight stay in Whitby, and my first visit to Pannett Park. I found it an extremely photogenic location. The hard work put in is obvious to see. Congratulations to all involved :)

You have all worked tremendously hard and the re-opening event was a credit to you all.

It was good to see all the generations together enjoying the delightful and carefully laid out gardens, the entertainment and the play area. Alderman Pannett would have been proud of you all and you can be justly proud of your achievements on behalf of Whitby.

To see the fruits of our endeavours come together with so many people to appreciate your efforts must be very rewarding. You are all to be congratulated.

We visited the new play area at the weekend (with our 20 month old son) and we all thought it was the best play area we have been to! It was great to see toddlers playing alongside teenagers and even adults.
